The park was established in 1963 and is located on 20 acres of land in east Sunnyvale. It is home to many trees and plants, including native conifers, oaks, cottonwoods, sycamores, and a variety of other species. Ponderosa Park features a number of attractions, including a unique and peaceful lake surrounded by a wooded nature area. The lake is great for fishing, paddling, and other water activities.
